House Theme 2009
This is the new theme for 2009. 'Fushicho'is Japanese for 'phoenix'; the phoenix signifies rebirth and continuity, as it is reborn from its own ashes. Similarly, we hope that all Moorians will put their heart into making 2009 a one to remember, reviving the legacy that Moor always had - fiery and formidable.
The new t-shirt design was done up by Lee Ji Heng and Liu Weihao.

About Moor
Moor House is named after Mr J.H. Moor, the first headmaster of Raffles Institution. It was the first house to compose a house anthem, and the first to start House Day, the initiation of the new Sec 1 Moorians into the house.
